Brief Overview of the Results of the National Patient Satisfaction Survey on Primary Health Care Services

This brief overview of the results is based on data from the National Patient Satisfaction Survey on Primary Health Care (PHC) services, conducted under the “Healthy Nation of Tajikistan” (Millati Solimi Tojikiston) project. The project is financed through grants from the International Development Association (IDA), the Global Financing Facility for Women, Children and Adolescents (GFF), and the Health Emergency Preparedness and Response (HEPR) Program. Funding is provided by an IDA grant, with co-financing from the Global Financing Facility for Women, Children and Adolescents (GFF) and the Health Emergency Preparedness and Response (HEPR) Program.

The project is implemented with the support of the World Bank and aims to improve the quality and efficiency of primary health care services, as well as to strengthen Tajikistan’s national capacity for preparedness and response to public health emergencies.

The main beneficiaries of the project are citizens and residents of the Republic of Tajikistan who use PHC services, including vulnerable population groups such as individuals at high risk of non-communicable diseases, pregnant women, young children, adolescents, older persons, and survivors of gender-based violence.

One of the key tools for assessing the success of the reform is the systematic collection of feedback from the population. Measuring patient satisfaction not only enables monitoring of service quality, but also supports evidence-based decision-making for the further improvement of health policies and practices.
